Another rain drop slid down the muti colored hair boys face as walked around the park. Not being from here, Ruki had no memories of the small town. From his large town, he had no idea of what to expect in the town of Dogersville. The teen ran his hand over a thick hedge and grabbed a couple of leaves as he walked on around leafy place. He was marveled by the greenness all around. In a way it reminded him of home. Finding no use for the leaves, he dropped them and watched them shimmy their way down to the ground. He smiled slightly before continuing on his way. To where? He didn't know that. He rarely did. It was just one of those nights where he felt like getting out of the old habit of just siting around and actually doing something.
He carried his acoustic guitar on his shoulder as the rain pittered patter off of it. The rain was unexpected like a lot of things in his life. Ruki didn't want to be here in american, in this small town with no excitement. He wanted to start a band but it seemed like no one here played instruments to his fancy. The Asian stopped at a park bench and pulled out his pick. Rain had always calmed him, even when he was little. And it rarely rained in the godforsaken town so he took advantage of every drop. He strum a few notes at tightened the strings. It was way out of tune. Ruki shivered as the rain got harder and harder. He didn't want to go back to his dad and hear him talk about nothing but useless sailor stuff that he would never use.
After strumming the stings a few more times, the asian was satisfied with the tune. The vibrates were just right. He reposition his guitar and cradled it in his arms like he always would and began to play the third set to kurenai.
When I was gonna be losing you on my mind,
I found my
heart in soil
I'm looking back the days
These are gonna break my
heart
But I can't never hold back
The teen exhaled sharply, wishing he would have paid more attention to the news. Ruki was glad he wore his black domo shirt but the checkered skinny jeans were completely soaked and could hold heat no more. As for his shoes, they were gone too. The boy began to contemplate going home. He could take his dad's random talks. But then he thought about how it rarely rained and decided against it. Ruki continued to sing to kurenai
All of you in my memory
is still
shining in my heart
Now you're wearing the mysterious lights
It keeps me
sticking into my heart
